In the Spirit of March Madness
Dan and I were just sitting here enjoying one of the games in the NCAA tournament. I informed him that I needed some information about zone defense (since he's the basketball expert of the two of us). It seems come May/June we are going to need a plan of attack, a strategy. Man to man defense will not be an option once A, B, and C get here. Zone is the way to go. :) Triplet madness, yea!

Mindless Chatter & Belly Pics
Alright, time for another blog. I'm just sitting here unable to nap... which is odd since I'm very tired. But, I'm enjoying feeling all my babies kicking. I suppose I have some pregnancy happenings I could talk about. Here's the latest:
I had kind of a tramatic day on Tuesday. I was back at school for the first time in a week because of spring break. It was miserable. I was exhausted from the beginning. I got swollen feet and it was painful to stand. I decided I couldn't do it anymore. I was guilting myself in to staying at school because I know the kids will be disappointed to not have their concert... but it was no longer possible for me to be there. And they weren't prepared enough for someone else to step in and do the concert for me. I was devestated to be done before I expected and leave the students hanging. But, I am not willing to put these three precious children at risk for anything. So, I'm home now, keeping everyone healthy and growing. I guess this is one of my first times going with my instincts about caring for my babies and I feel good about it.
This weekend I had pregnancy pictures taken by my aunt Tina. I'm really excited about how they turned out. I loved celebrating this glorious belly of mine. I've dreamed about being pregnant for years and I love treasuring this fleeting time. Here are some of our favorites:

This is the kids' most active time... about 4 pm to 5:30pm. I love sitting here watching the belly bounce and jiggle. Pregnancy is so weird! I think there are so many moments to laugh about. I think it's funny that the XL pregnancy clothes don't hardly fit anymore! Don't they know how big bellies get during pregnancy or what? And I hopefully still have 2 months to go! But, now I'll be home and can live in men's XXL tall T-shirts. Yea! It's also weird to have my brain functioning like it is. There is a wall in there that blocks out words that I've known my whole life. I can't talk! THEN, there are times when the wall is completely missing and I blurt out things I haven't even thought about. Like the time I told my mom I had bought some croutons to have with our chokecherry jelly. She was confused of course... since I meant croissants. The belly-button is on it's way out, slowly but surely. AND it's off-center! Who knew that would happen? Dan always thinks it's funny when he sees me crawling up the stairs. My weight is distributed easier that way... that's all I can say.
Well, it's after dinner now and I better get this posted. Laundry to fold and I'm going to visit with Dan as he's working on grouting the bathroom. Talk to you later!

23weeks5days
Babies are looking good! We got to see them on Friday. Grandma Rigsby and Grandma & Grandpa Nebelsick got to see their grandchildren. They are growing so well. The boys are both 1 lb. 6 oz. and our girl is 1 lb. 4 oz. That's 4 pounds of baby total! We had a great report from the doctor but my dream of traveling to Gillette "one last time" isn't going to happen. It's safest for all to stay close to home and keep these babes safe and sound.
We had an awesome weekend here at the Nebelsick house. My mom, aunt Donna, aunt Kristi, Douglas, Ryan and Alecia came to help us get our house in shape. This place got a makeover from top to bottom. The nursery is ready for the crib and other baby stuff to be set up. Also, Dan and Douglas got an unbelievable start on the tile in the bathroom. I'll include a picture of that here:

Happy 20 Weeks! and Valentine's Day!
What a great day! I got to celebrate my wonderful husband on Valentine's day AND 20 weeks with the newest loves of my life on the same day! I'm very relieved to get to 20 weeks because it feels like we've gotten to a big milestone in this pregnancy. I've read somewhere that triplets can still be in danger until then because of the stress on the uterus growing so fast. And I've been growing! Here's my latest belly picture from tonight. Aren't they cute? I can't wait to see how cute they are in person! :)
You might recognize the shirt I'm wearing as the one McKenzie wore in the picture on my last post. Both of our Mom's got them for us. I was sad I didn't have mine to wear when I saw her so we could match! That would have been fun.

Lazy Evening
Well, I've spent most of my evening in my nice recliner. It's piling up snow outside and it's very pretty. I've been feeling the babies so much lately, I just feel bad I can't share this with Dan yet. I can tell which one it is and that's really cool! I feel Baby C the least because he's across the top and I usually have to be still and conscentrating.
Dan and I spent the weekend working on getting this household of two ready for a family of five! I guess it's kind of like the country song, "We're two of a kind workin' on a full house." We wondered if we'd ever have children to fill our rooms, we never dreamed we'd do it all at once! Anyway, we have one of the spare rooms upstairs mostly cleaned out and have to move on to the office. We had 3 1/2 years of filling every nook and cranny with our junk. It will be sort of a clutter relief to have a reason to sort through and reorganize. I love organizing and Dan hates it. I'm not so great at the upkeep of a system, but Dan likes to get things back in there space, so we're a great team.
We have a nursery set picked out and we're planning on just one nursery right now. If there is a fussy baby (IF... ha!) that needs to be seperated then there will be a place in the other room. BUT, we tried to be smart and have a place for nighttime help (if it's volunteered) to sleep upstairs too. I can't wait to get the office cleaned out and started setting up baby stuff. I love the crib set we picked out. Here's a picture:
Obviously that's not our nursery but you can see the design. There are Mommy animals with their babies. We decided we could do a "Noah's Ark" theme to go with it. We'll worry about making a boys room and girl room when they are old enough to care and are probably out of cribs. (Boy they are moving! Maybe that means they are fine with the idea.)
I'm also going to post a picture of my best friend McKenzie and me when I saw her in January. I was 17 weeks along and she was 32 weeks. I think we look alarmingly similar in size. Of course I have a triple load, but I fear what my 32nd week will look like. Here we are: (Hope you don't mind Kenzie :))

18w6d Ultrasound
Hello everyone! Welcome to the Nebelsick family blog! I never thought I would become a "blogger" but I want a way for everyone who loves our babies to be able to keep up with the latest news. If you feel we haven't updated this enough, send us an email request to get busy! We had an awesome ultrasound yesterday. The doctor said everything looked perfect and we are all doing really well. All three are very active and it was so fun to see them. Our biggest news is we're having a boy(A), another boy(C) and a GIRL (B)! You'll have to settle for calling them by their letters until their born because we're waiting to announce their names until then. We have to save some sort of surprise!
Baby A was hard to get pictures of yesterday. He was curled up tight underneath his brother and sister. We have some good ones of the other two though. We had some sweet moments where we saw Baby C's foot kicking near Baby A. Then Baby A reached up and put his hand on his brothers foot. The membrane was between them but it was very cool. We know they are playing with each other already! We also had a couple of views that looked like Baby B was giving her brother (C) a kiss on the head. We just can't wait to meet them! (But of course we actually can... we want them in there as long as possible!)
The doctor said the kids we all a great size for their age. A-10 oz., B-9 oz. and C-11 oz. They didn't measure length but they should be around 6 inches from head to rump.

Looks like a big smile from Baby BI know these may be hard to see. I never knew what I was looking at with ultrasounds until now. Good luck interpreting them! Please keep praying for everyone's health and Dan's sanity! He's been working so hard to keep everything going around here as I get less and less capable. He's wonderful.

One of the Last & Counting

Just sat down and watched a movie, completely uninterrupted... well except for Elizabeth's mom (Grandma Rigsby as she will soon be called) calling about the new minivan! (Isn't that crazy... we shouldn't own a minivan... sick and wrong) In a couple more months, quiet evenings will be a thing of the past. Just 18 more years until we have some again.
I'm supposed to write something positive... think of a mass of metal deficient of electrons... that's my positive thought for the day. :)
Well, I guess that positive wasn't good enough for "Our Children's Blog"... let's try again. Mom's belly is growing at an incredible rate! OUCH! That punch hurt!
On Monday we go in to see another ultrasound of the kids! Here's hoping for at least one Boy, although 3 little girls would be awfully cute!
