Welcome to the World, William!
David, Aria and Levi have a new cousin! William Cooper was born yesterday and is so very cute!! Uncle Dan and Auntie Elizabeth got to go visit him yesterday. I will post some pictures. Dan and Josh are already planning for future 3 on 3 basketball tournaments to be played by these Nebelsick cousins. I am so glad the kids will have a cousin their age. How fun! Congrats Katie and Josh!!

Fun Moments
We've been having a lot of fun around here lately. Today was an AWESOME day! Dan's Mom stayed here on her way through last night so she got up with us and helped with the babies this morning. She had to go when we laid down for our morning nap. I got to sleep for an hour! After naptime was over, Dan's cousin Kim came to help us out today. We had a lot of fun with her here today and I got some laundry done and was free to actually make a meal tonight! We had dinner and as Kim was walking out the door, my aunt Donna arrived to help out this evening! YAY! Dan had to head back to the office for the evening (he had to move out of his office because of construction... yuck). Donna and I did bathtime and got babies put to bed. I could have never done it alone. The night ended with me finally finishing the ironing. That was a relief. I don't exactly find much time for ironing lately.
But, as fun as the ironing was, that wasn't the best part of the day. We have some budding personalities around here. Levi has become quite the thumb sucker. He has really found it and has become proficient at getting it into his mouth. He also had a lot of fun today "blowing raspberries". He spent much of the day buzzing his lips together. I am just glad he forgot that new talent when Donna fed him his cereal. He wasn't as kind to Kim during his bottle this afternoon.
David has taken up playing with hair. He was laying with me the two days ago and kept running his hands through my hair. He likes to grab it whenever he can. Tonight, Donna was feeding him and he would grunt at her if she tipped her head where he couldn't reach it!
Aria was laying by herself under her toy this evening. She had a blanket and she kept putting it over her face and taking it off. Donna noticed she was playing peek-a-boo with herself!! So, Donna started playing along and Aria kept putting the blanket up and taking it down and she started laughing. I can't believe how smart my babies are!
Here are some favorite pictures as of late. There is also a picture of Dan's brother, Jonny, holding all three babies! Speaking of uncles... Dan is about to become an uncle for the first time, making me an aunt for the first time too! We are super excited for his brother Josh and his wife, Katie. We ask for prayers for the baby's safe arrival... which could be at any time.

Election Night, the Theater, Dr. Appt., & Many Pictures
Once again, I have two or three week's worth of happenings to blog about. I should keep this updated better so they don't have to be so long. I have tons of pictures to share, and a few stories.
When I blogged about our trip last time, I was having fun telling of all my mishaps and adventures. Now I can tell you some of the baby's adventures! On November 4th, my mom and I took the kids to their first political event... just to get them started out on the right foot. :D We stopped by the party for Wyoming Senator Mike Enzi's re-election. (He is Republican... get it? Right foot? Ok, I'm a dork. Moving on.) He is a friend of our families and graciously let us take a picture of him with our babies. His youngest granddaughter was born the day after David, Aria, and Levi and we got to see her too!
While we were in Gillette, my best friend brought her darling daughter, Rylan, over for a play date with the kids. Rylan was moving all around showing off her crawling skills. David took one look at that and decided that was a skill he wanted! He's been spending most of his floor time on his tummy and now he gets really animated trying to get all his limbs going. He can't get up on his knees quite yet, but we know it's a matter of time.

I was getting very little sleep because they were getting up in the wee hours of the morning for a bottle. We decided it was time for a bedtime feeding of cereal for everybody! Poor Dan had to miss the first feeding of cereal for Levi and Aria, but I knew he'd have plenty of nights to make that up in the future! (haha) Here are some picture of the first feeding.
The first weekend we were there, my family got together for our traditional "Taco Party." I have a picture of the babies being cuddled and fed by our friends and family.
On Friday, Nov. 7th, David got to go out with Mommy all by himself! I went to see the Campbell County High School production of "The Sound of Music." It was directed by my aunt and friend Kenzie, and my cousin Justin played Kurt. David got to go on a date, because he was the last to be able to do something alone with one of us. Aria went to lunch and shopping with me in August, and Dan took Levi shopping and in the tractor in September. I was a little nervous about leaving Aria, because she has become QUITE the Momma's girl. She cries when new people hold her and will stop when I take her back. Uhg. But, my brave friends stepped up and volunteered to babysit! Amber and her husband Jonathan said they would watch the kids if I wanted to go to the musical. So brave. Amber had helped me a lot while we visited in Gillette and I knew the kids would be fine. I never worried about the kids, I always worry about the babysitters and what the babies are doing to them!! But, they survived and did an awesome job. I would trust my babies again with them in a heartbeat. I just hope I haven't delayed them having their own kids for a while! :D
The weekend brought with it a huge snowstorm that pounded the Black Hills. Dan and my other family from Sioux Falls weren't able to come to Gillette on Friday like they planned. My brother ended up not coming at all, so Dan said he wouldn't either. My aunts were still coming so one of them could help me drive back home. On Saturday, my mom got home from a errand trip and called to me, "Elizabeth... look what I found for you at Walmart!" Lo and behold, there was my husband!! He surprised me by making the trip along with my aunts. YAY! It had been too long to be away from him and I didn't like the thought of two extra days.
Since Dan was there and lots of other family, Saturday night ALL the babies got their first theater experience! We all went to the musical. I loved watching their wonder at the orchestra sounds and the kids on stage. I was last year, musical weekend, that Dan and I announced our pregnancy with triplets to our family and friends in Gillette. Sooo much fun! I can't believe how far we've come in a year. We thoroughly enjoyed the musical. The bebes pretty much slept through the second act and we whisked them off to bed when it was over.
Here is a picture of the David, Levi and Aria all bundled in their new hats from Aunt Jessica. This wasn't the musical night, but close enough!
We left before church on Sunday so we wouldn't be driving all hours of the night. The trip was pretty uneventful. We fed everyone in the Arby's in Rapid City. I was pretty disgusted with the fact that there was no changing table in any bathroom - note for future trips! But, we bundled and ran back and forth to the front seat of the car for a chilly change a couple times. We didn't have to stop again (except for a quick fill of gas) until Mitchell. We stopped at Dan's Grandma's to feed/change/play. The kids were very happy to be out of their carseats. I love it when we get to see both sets of grandparents in one day. We had Uncle Jonny hold all three babies, even with a cast on his arm! We were able to to get home at a decent time and get to bed near(ish) bedtime. Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures while we were in Mitchell. I will have to get those from Nana Boo Boo (aka - Grandma Nebelsick :D... you'll have to ask Uncles Josh and Ben about that one!). Here are some pictures of the family helping with the morning routine and saying goodbye Sunday morning in Gillette.

This is actually Aunt Jessica and Aria the evening of the musical, just before bedtime. Aria was sticking her bum out as she was standing there. So cute!
Now for some pictures from before we went to Gillette, when my sister Jessica was here helping us. THANK YOU JESSICA!!! We had a birthday party for Aunt Kristi where we took pictures of me with all three babies (again-finally), Dan balancing David and then me cuddling the sleeping David.

Here, all the babies are in their hats from Aunt MiMi. They say "Future Senator"! She got them in Washington, D.C. while visiting the Enzi's.
Finally, we had a check-up at our pediatricians' office on Nov. 11. We were told the babies were doing awesome. The doctor couldn't believe how big they were and said they weren't even like preemies anymore. We didn't compare their growth on the preemie chart anymore. I was so excited to hear their weights and percentages. David was quite the handful on the doctor's table because he wanted to roll around. I know I will not be able to take them to the doctor's office by myself for a long time! Here are the stats and a picture on the table. I will end the endless post and try to break it up a little more next time!
David:
Height - 27 and 1/2 inches, 90th percentile
Weight - 17 lbs. 14 ounces, 90th percentile
Aria:
Height - 26 and 1/2 inches, 90th percentile
Weight - 14 lbs. 14 ounces, 50th percentile
Levi:
Height - 27 and 1/2 inches, 90th percentile
Weight - 16lbs. 10 ounces, 75th percentile
All I can say is "WOOOHOOO!" All of my fears about triplet preemies and having health issues have pretty much disappeared. They are doing so well. Thanks for all your prayers!

Lopsided
Sorry it has been a while since my last post. I am drained lately and have little left over for creative writing here. :) We'll see how this turns out.
We are here again, in my hometown of Gillette! We finally made it after quite a trip. I love spending time here because we get so much help and I get a little rest, so when the opportunity arose to travel, we took it. It worked out because my brother was home on fall break, so my mom rode back our way with him. Then she drove me and the babies out to Gillette yesterday. Dan will come to help us drive home in two weekends. He can't take all this time off work so unfortunately he has to be without us for a week and a couple days. Poor baby... what is his going to do with all his sleep and free time??? ;) I know he misses us but we'll talk often and maybe figure out the webcam!
It is a little bit harder to travel with everyone in the middle of the day, rather than through the night while they sleep. It was a long trip across South Dakota. We fed them in Sioux Falls and ran some errands. Then we stopped at the Nebelsick farm and Dan's parents got to see us momentarily. We did another feeding and immediately got back on the road. We made it as far as Wall, SD and had to stop for the next bottles.
When we pulled into town we looked for a place we could go in and sit down so we stopped at Subway. My mom and I took in the three babies and two diaper bags. We were kind of a spectacle, as usual. Mom ordered us sandwiches and held Aria, and she proceeded to fill her pants in line. After eating, I took the babies one by one to the restroom to be changed. Mom made bottles. We fed everyone. Meanwhile we had gotten many comments from onlookers. One couple said that they were highly entertaining to watch. I could hear "ahh"s and "oo"s as I played with Levi while we waited. I felt like an exhibit at a zoo.
Well, we would have been back on the road at a decent time, but each baby decided it would be fun to fill their pants for Momma. Yay. I started the task of hauling each baby off to be changed again. I had to walk all the way through the Subway into the gas station each time, everyone watching all the way. For the last diaper, the bathroom was occupied so I changed David on the front seat of the van. An hour and a half after pulling in, we were back on the road. But, luckily they all went to sleep and I did too, and we didn't need to stop again.
We arrived somewhere in the 10 o'clock hour. We fed babies and put them to bed. I got ready for bed too and noticed I had no bathroom basket. I had left it in my room in my rush to get babies packed that morning. Soooo, I had to take off for Walmart at 11:30 at night to get contact solution, etc. I couldn't go without a razor because that morning, in my rush, I had only shaved one leg! I couldn't stand walking around lopsided! I don't like being without glasses but what can I do? I got to bed kind of late that night.
The first two or three nights here, I think the babies were trying to kill me. I got about 4 to 5 hours of sleep every night. The decision was made that everyone needed to be eating some rice cereal to fill their bellies before bed. So, Aria and Levi had their first cereal. (Sorry you had to miss it Dan, but there will be lots of nights of feeding them in your future. :)) Both of them did great and they sucked it right down. They like it and sit up and open their mouths for the spoon.
Saturday morning, I got to go to Rapid City with my friend McKenzie and her mom for some "girl time" and shopping. We had a lot of fun trying on mounds of clothes now that we both are recovered from having babies this spring. Yay! It was fun to get out and spend time with my friend. I miss my friends from home and love getting to spend time with them while I am here. The one mishap from the trip was when my contact tore in the car on the way there. If you remember from before, I don't have my bathroom supplies, so no replacement and no glasses. So from Saturday to Monday, I had to live with one contact. It was so annoying!! I even sang at church with my sight being all wacky, but I made it through. So here I was again, lopsided. My dad said I am doing a great job of taking care of these babies, but not such a great job taking care of myself. Ha.
Sunday night, I needed to run to Walmart for some formula, diapers and other random items. I was still without my contact but I thought I was fine. But at night, lights looked like big blurry bulbs through my bad eye. Yikes. So, I closed that eye for a lot of the drive. Not very convenient. It was only two days after Halloween... so I found a 50 cent solution to my problem! A pirate eye patch for the drive home! I walked in the door to my parents house and said "ARRR!"
The other morning, Aria woke me up for a bottle at around 4 am. I was kind of flustered because she started crying the instant I laid her down for a diaper change. I REALLY didn't want her to wake up her brothers so I was trying to entertain and shush her. I got her bottle ready while holding her and fixed myself a big 32 oz of ice water. Then we went back to the livingroom. Well, in the darkness and excitement, I knocked over my iced tea from the evening before. It hit the couch, the table and the floor. Aria was still yelling as I cleaned it up. Then, as I tried to move the side table to continue soaking up the floor, my big water tipped off, the lid popped off, and water and ice went everywhere! Arg. I ran for a bigger towel... baby still crying. Finally, I got an acceptable amount cleaned up and laid Aria down to change her. She just got louder because she wasn't being fed. Finally, I stuck the bottle in and finished the diapering and snapping one-handed. My mom must have heard enough ruckus to wake up and came to help... to rescue me at the height of 4am stress. Thank goodness! I don't believe any of the boys got up right away so that was good. We don't have just the stress of a baby crying in the middle of the night, we have the stress that a baby crying could possibly lead to THREE crying babies. They hear each other now. We try to avoid that.
Well, now it is Friday and I am still working on this post. I got a replacement contact on Monday morning for my right eye. It was quite the ordeal. Turns out it can be quite complicated to get one contact. I was told by my local eye doctor that I had to go and sign a release, have it faxed and then they would fax back my prescription. I wanted to say... do you realize I am alone with three babies, no triplet stroller and it's almost impossible to run to the eye doctor without help, besides the fact that I am half blind and probably shouldn't be driving my three babies around? (ok, my sight isn't that bad... it's a nuisance but not bad.) Luckily we were able to pick up my mom over the lunch hour and she sat in the car with the kids while I stood waiting for the stupid fax to be returned. The Gillette office was great and would have just given me the contact if I had known the brand I had. They even called but our office said the type I took was bi-focals! I don't think so! So, I had to wait for the fax. After a half an hour, we left to go get lunch and see if the babies would fall asleep with the van moving again. I was able to get my contact when we returned.
Guess what my luck brought me this lovely Friday morning? My LEFT contact tore in half. I am done with this new brand!! Sooo, I had to swallow my pride and go get another one. I would have been fine and had Dan bring me my entire box from home... BUT a giant blizzard has canceled his travel plans and we won't be seeing him tonight. Sadness. I was bummed. We'll see if anyone will make it back from the Sioux Falls area this weekend. We were all going to be together for the high school musical here. It's a family tradition since my aunt is the director and we've all been in them for years. This year, my cousin is playing a part and I am very excited to watch him. If no one makes it, I won't have travel help getting back and my parents may have to help me drive part way. I know I won't attempt the entire 500 mile trip alone with the trio.
I am going to post this with no pictures and add some when I find some. I am out of time and it's time to feed Levi! He won't understand if I delay to upload photos for you all, so check back later!!

PS-I forgot to mention Halloween! We didn't do anything special besides answer to door for trick-or-treaters. The babies wore their cute onesies from Aunt Donna for their first Halloween. We have some pictures that my Dad took. I have a favorite of each child, but not one of everyone all together. That is a miracle moment that happens rarely.

Poor baby... what is his going to do with all his sleep and free time??? ;) I know he misses us but we'll talk often and maybe figure out the webcam!
It is a little bit harder to travel with everyone in the middle of the day, rather than through the night while they sleep. It was a long trip across South Dakota. We fed them in Sioux Falls and ran some errands. Then we stopped at the Nebelsick farm and Dan's parents got to see us momentarily. We did another feeding and immediately got back on the road. We made it as far as Wall, SD and had to stop for the next bottles.
When we pulled into town we looked for a place we could go in and sit down so we stopped at Subway. My mom and I took in the three babies and two diaper bags. We were kind of a spectacle, as usual. Mom ordered us sandwiches and held Aria, and she proceeded to fill her pants in line. After eating, I took the babies one by one to the restroom to be changed. Mom made bottles. We fed everyone. Meanwhile we had gotten many comments from onlookers. One couple said that they were highly entertaining to watch. I could hear "ahh"s and "oo"s as I played with Levi while we waited. I felt like an exhibit at a zoo.
Well, we would have been back on the road at a decent time, but each baby decided it would be fun to fill their pants for Momma. Yay. I started the task of hauling each baby off to be changed again. I had to walk all the way through the Subway into the gas station each time, everyone watching all the way. For the last diaper, the bathroom was occupied so I changed David on the front seat of the van. An hour and a half after pulling in, we were back on the road. But, luckily they all went to sleep and I did too, and we didn't need to stop again.
We arrived somewhere in the 10 o'clock hour. We fed babies and put them to bed. I got ready for bed too and noticed I had no bathroom basket. I had left it in my room in my rush to get babies packed that morning. Soooo, I had to take off for Walmart at 11:30 at night to get contact solution, etc. I couldn't go without a razor because that morning, in my rush, I had only shaved one leg! I couldn't stand walking around lopsided! I don't like being without glasses but what can I do? I got to bed kind of late that night.
The first two or three nights here, I think the babies were trying to kill me. I got about 4 to 5 hours of sleep every night. The decision was made that everyone needed to be eating some rice cereal to fill their bellies before bed. So, Aria and Levi had their first cereal. (Sorry you had to miss it Dan, but there will be lots of nights of feeding them in your future. :)) Both of them did great and they sucked it right down. They like it and sit up and open their mouths for the spoon.
Saturday morning, I got to go to Rapid City with my friend McKenzie and her mom for some "girl time" and shopping. We had a lot of fun trying on mounds of clothes now that we both are recovered from having babies this spring. Yay! It was fun to get out and spend time with my friend. I miss my friends from home and love getting to spend time with them while I am here. The one mishap from the trip was when my contact tore in the car on the way there. If you remember from before, I don't have my bathroom supplies, so no replacement and no glasses. So from Saturday to Monday, I had to live with one contact. It was so annoying!! I even sang at church with my sight being all wacky, but I made it through. So here I was again, lopsided. My dad said I am doing a great job of taking care of these babies, but not such a great job taking care of myself. Ha.
Sunday night, I needed to run to Walmart for some formula, diapers and other random items. I was still without my contact but I thought I was fine. But at night, lights looked like big blurry bulbs through my bad eye. Yikes. So, I closed that eye for a lot of the drive. Not very convenient. It was only two days after Halloween... so I found a 50 cent solution to my problem! A pirate eye patch for the drive home! I walked in the door to my parents house and said "ARRR!"
The other morning, Aria woke me up for a bottle at around 4 am. I was kind of flustered because she started crying the instant I laid her down for a diaper change. I REALLY didn't want her to wake up her brothers so I was trying to entertain and shush her. I got her bottle ready while holding her and fixed myself a big 32 oz of ice water. Then we went back to the livingroom. Well, in the darkness and excitement, I knocked over my iced tea from the evening before. It hit the couch, the table and the floor. Aria was still yelling as I cleaned it up. Then, as I tried to move the side table to continue soaking up the floor, my big water tipped off, the lid popped off, and water and ice went everywhere! Arg. I ran for a bigger towel... baby still crying. Finally, I got an acceptable amount cleaned up and laid Aria down to change her. She just got louder because she wasn't being fed. Finally, I stuck the bottle in and finished the diapering and snapping one-handed. My mom must have heard enough ruckus to wake up and came to help... to rescue me at the height of 4am stress. Thank goodness! I don't believe any of the boys got up right away so that was good. We don't have just the stress of a baby crying in the middle of the night, we have the stress that a baby crying could possibly lead to THREE crying babies. They hear each other now. We try to avoid that.
Well, now it is Friday and I am still working on this post. I got a replacement contact on Monday morning for my right eye. It was quite the ordeal. Turns out it can be quite complicated to get one contact. I was told by my local eye doctor that I had to go and sign a release, have it faxed and then they would fax back my prescription. I wanted to say... do you realize I am alone with three babies, no triplet stroller and it's almost impossible to run to the eye doctor without help, besides the fact that I am half blind and probably shouldn't be driving my three babies around? (ok, my sight isn't that bad... it's a nuisance but not bad.) Luckily we were able to pick up my mom over the lunch hour and she sat in the car with the kids while I stood waiting for the stupid fax to be returned. The Gillette office was great and would have just given me the contact if I had known the brand I had. They even called but our office said the type I took was bi-focals! I don't think so! So, I had to wait for the fax. After a half an hour, we left to go get lunch and see if the babies would fall asleep with the van moving again. I was able to get my contact when we returned.
Guess what my luck brought me this lovely Friday morning? My LEFT contact tore in half. I am done with this new brand!! Sooo, I had to swallow my pride and go get another one. I would have been fine and had Dan bring me my entire box from home... BUT a giant blizzard has canceled his travel plans and we won't be seeing him tonight. Sadness. I was bummed. We'll see if anyone will make it back from the Sioux Falls area this weekend. We were all going to be together for the high school musical here. It's a family tradition since my aunt is the director and we've all been in them for years. This year, my cousin is playing a part and I am very excited to watch him. If no one makes it, I won't have travel help getting back and my parents may have to help me drive part way. I know I won't attempt the entire 500 mile trip alone with the trio.
I am going to post this with no pictures and add some when I find some. I am out of time and it's time to feed Levi! He won't understand if I delay to upload photos for you all, so check back later!!

PS-I forgot to mention Halloween! We didn't do anything special besides answer to door for trick-or-treaters. The babies wore their cute onesies from Aunt Donna for their first Halloween. We have some pictures that my Dad took. I have a favorite of each child, but not one of everyone all together. That is a miracle moment that happens rarely.
